Ones a Moon
My sister-in-law and I were arguing about using a menstrual cup. And later, I had another not-so-pleasant interaction about my period with someone else. Not to mention that many of my friends refer to female period in pejorative terms because, let's face it, it's mostly unpleasant. But maybe we shouldn't talk so harshly about menstruation because it is an inherent aspect of being a woman. Despite this, menstruation remains somewhat taboo. I would like to encourage more open and gentle conversations about it.
